  2. 1 large onion
  3. 4-5 garlic cloves
  4. 1 tbsp oil
  5. 1 tej patta
  6. 3 cups water
  7. 1 glass milk
  8. 4 black pepper cloves

Steps to make to make Palak Soup

  1. Firstly wash and roughly chop bunch of spinach.
  2. Now take a wok and add oil into it and when the oil becomes little hot then add garlic washed and finely chopped galric cloves into it
  3. After saute for a minute, add tejpatta and washed and chopped onion into it. Now saute onion for 2- 3 minutes till it becomes little pinkish.
  4. Now add black pepper and chopped spinach into it and mix it well and cook it for 4-5 minutes well
  5. After cooking it for 5 minutes add water into it and cook it till spinach becomes soft
  6. When spinach becomes soft then switch off the flame and let it cool for 10-15 minutes
  7. After cooling strain out all the water from spinach and blend the spinach and all the spices well. Keep the strained water aside.
  8. Now again take a wok and add blended spinach and add strained water into it and let it boil and add salt to taste into it.
  9. At the end when it starts boiling add milk into it and let it boil once and it is ready to serve.
